Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit a compact construction-equipment to drive a foundation pile by a noise and vibration free pile driving in which concrete is placed in the wall constructed by successively pushing divided pieces of a circular cylinder comprising longitudinally divided pieces into a ground one at a time.
CONSTITUTION: A circular cylinder 1 comprises a plurality of divided-well pieces P, Q, R and S looking like the pieces obtained by longitudinally dividing a conventional circular tube. Moreover, the cylinder 1 is constituted by axially connecting a plurality of unit divided cylinder pieces 2, each lowest one of which is provided with a bent edge 13. The cylinder 1 is constructed as, a shallow hole 201 having a diameter smaller than the cylinder 1 is excavated by using an auger, and the unit divided pieces PWS are pushed into the hole 201 one at a time. Then the hole 201 is further excavated, and the unit divided pieces PWS are pushed one upon another, which is successively repeated. After the cylinder 1 is driven in, the auger is drawn out, and as concrete is being placed, the cylinders 1 are successively drawn out by the operation by the procedure in a seversed sequence as stated above.
