Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the copy possible with a simple operation without using an interim paper by availing a (semi)transparent photosensitive paper in a thermocopying process wherein the copying is performed by infrared reflective radiant laying a thermosensitive paper upon a manuscript. CONSTITUTION:A semitransparent thermosensitive paper 8 is formed by being impregnated a coloration reactive substance when heated (mixture of ferric-iron and a phenol compound) in a wax state. Then, the thermosensitive paper 8 is put upon the manuscript 1 having an image of letters and pictures consisted of block parts, and the part of the thermosensitive paper 8 correspondent to the block part 2 of the manuscript 1 is allowed to develop the color by irradiating the infrared rays 10 from the side of the thermosensitive paper 8. The image formed without the transfer process against the interim paper as mentioned above, is a reversal positive image on the surface of the thermosensitive paper 8 which contacts with the manuscript 1. However, it can be observed as a positive image from the opposite side since the semitransparent paper is used as a thermosensitive paper 8.
