Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce a thermal affection for a measuring device, by providing the intake air flow measuring device used in a fuel injection device in a fluid passage made of a thermally insulating material.
CONSTITUTION: An internal combustion engine 1 and air cleaner 10 are connected by an intake group consisting of a fluid passage 6, flexible fluid passage 11, throttle chamber 3, having a throttle valve 4 and injection valve 5, and intake manifold 2. In the above described fluid passage 6 a heated resistor 8 for measuring a flow rate of intake air connected to an electronic control circuit 9 is arranged to measure the amount of intake air at that time. An overall unit of the fluid passage 6 is formed by a thermally insulating material like synthetic resin to reduce a heat conduction from the engine 1.
