Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to insert the means preventing the deterioration of quality on the way so that the transmission line can be longer, when the semiduplex data communication channel is formed with optical fiber cable. CONSTITUTION:When light signal is incoming to the optical reception module 11a via the optical path selector 13 depending on transmission and reception from the optical fiber cable 8, the light reception module 11a generates the electric signal of TTL level. This electric signal is relayed to the light transmission module 12a with the relay unit (11a 16a 12a). On the other hand, the leading of this signal triggers the retriggerable one-shot circuit 15a and activates this. Since the period of activation is made sufficiently longer than the period of input signal, while this state is kept, the relay unit (11b 16b 12b) of other direction is made to nonoperation via the inhibiting gate 16b. After the final input signal, the inhibition of other relay units are stopped.
