CONSTITUTION: This heat resistant cast steel has a composition consisting of 0.15W 0.50% C, 2.0W5.0% Si, ≤1.0% Mn, ≤0.03% P, ≤0.03% S, 15W18% Cr, 1.0W 3.0% N, 0.5W3.0% Mo, 0.5W3.0% W and the blance essentially Fe. This steel has improved oxidation resistance and high temp. strength at about 800Wabout 900°C without deteriorating the superior thermal fatigue resistance of a martensitic heat resistant cast steel.
