Abstract

PURPOSE: To make suitable beaconing possible regardless of the water depth, by telescopically constructing a marking pole body of the entitled buoy so that the length thereof can be adjusted in response to the water depth.
CONSTITUTION: A marking pole body 4 is equipped with at its top a lighting device 1, at its upper part a lettered marker 2, and at its middle part a buoyant body 3, and a lower portion of a lower marking pole body 4' of the marking pole body 4 is telescopically inserted into an upper opening of a hollow marking pole body 5 and is secured thereto by threadably inserted bolts 6, so that it is integrally connected with the hollow marking pole body 5 to construct a spur buoy. Therefore the sum of the lengths of the marking pole bodies 4' and 5 can be telescopically adjusted to obtain a desired length of the marking pole bodies, so that suitable beaconing is possible according to the water depth.
