Abstract

PURPOSE: A reactive adhesive composition, having a high bonding strength and improved heat resistance, and comprising a styrene-butadiene-maleic anhydride graft copolymer, a monomer consisting of an acrylate etc. and a curing catalyst.
CONSTITUTION: A composition comprising (A) styrene-butadiene-maleic anhydride graft copolymer which is obtained by grafting styrene monomer and maleic anhydride onto polybutadiene or styrene-butadiene copolymer, and contains preferably 1W50wt% the maleic anhydride in the graft copolymer, (B) a methacrylate or acrylate monomer, preferably methyl methacrylate, and (C) a curing catalyst, e.g. a curing agent such as cumene hydroperoxide or a curing accelerator such as diethylenethiourea. Preferably, the weight ratio between (A) and (B) is 5:95W40:60, and the content of (C) is 0.05W1wt%.
