Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a laminated coating film with excellent gloss, gas-tightness and electric insulation property etc. by forming a coating film comprising a lower layer of an inorg. coating film and an upper layer of a partial hydrolyzate of alkoxysilane.
CONSTITUTION: An inorg. coating film coated as a lower layer is not limited specially and a conventional inorg. paint is used. As a coating agent used as an upper layer, is used the coating agent obtained by partially hydroliying and condensing an alkoxysilane shown by a general formula Rn 1(OR2)4-2 (wherein n is an integer of 0W2. R1 is 1W6C hydrocarbon group, R2 is 1W4C alkyl group) alone or two or more of a mixture thereof. Firstly, an inorg. paint is coated on a substrate plate and, after cured by heat curing or the like, a partially hydrolyzed and condensed product of an alkoxysilane is coated by a conventional coating method such as a dipping, a spraying or a brush coating method.
