Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A dry powder containing a live bacterium, e.g. Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus casei or Lactobacillus acidophilus, having a control action on the intestinal function, is suspended in a fat and oil. e.g. a natural fat and oil such as soybeam or sesame oil, or a synthetic glyceride of linoleic or linolenic acid with glycerol, which is an oil at 0W45°C and capable of maintaining the bacterium stable, to give a live bacterial pharmaceutical (remedy). The resulting pharmaceutical is packed directly in a bottle or tube or filled in a solf capsule for use.
