Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve control processing performance by using a memory circuit with efficiency by dividing a facsimile signal into blocks consisting of a constant numbr of bits and by storing blocks with a tansmitting-terminal or communication- call discrimination code added to every block. CONSTITUTION:Between redundancy suppressing coding circuit 5 and storage part 6, block-dividing and various-code adding circuit 13 is provided and between storage part 6 and redundancy suppressing decoder 8, additional-code checking, block editing and additional code removing circuit 14 is further provided. The above-mentioned circuit 13 divides a fascimile signal into blocks of a constant number of bits, adds a transmitting-terminal discrimination code to every block by the information of control part 7 and then stores them in storage part 6 under the control of control part 7. Transmission to receiver 12 is brought under the control of control part 7 and blocks are read out of storage part 6, one by one, and checked by circuit 14 in terms of propriety of each discrimination code. So that the same contents with the output signal of transmitter 1 will be obtained, they are edited on the basis of block discrimination numbers and, after various additional codes are removed, sent to receiver 12 by way of decoder 8, switchboard 10 and subscriber's line 11.
