Abstract

CONSTITUTION: An agricultural chemical component is dissolved or dispersed in a waxy substance, e.g., a solid paraffin or stearic acid, and a water-soluble or water-dispersible substance, e.g. urea or ammonium sulfate, as a diluent is added to the solution or dispersion, which is extruded and granulated to give an agricultural chemical granule for water surface application. The solution or dispersion has a specific gravity less than 1 and is contained in a product in an amount of 2W 98wt%. Alternatively, an acid binder is used to extrude the mixture by the wet method, or the mixture is extruded and granulated in the absence of water at the melting point of the waxy substance or above.
