Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform the charging or discharging of sample effectively without resorting to manual operation by automatizing a matching operation for a sample- housing backet with the opening of the upper plate of a rotor chamber.
CONSTITUTION: When the rotation of a rotor is stopped as a set time passes, an air cylinder 22 operates to lift a bar 17, and the low-speed rotation force of an index motor 16 is transmitted to the output shaft 10 of a main motor 9 and further to the rotor. When the output shaft 10 of the main motor 9 rotates at low speed and at the same time the index disc 11 fitted to the output shaft 10 is turned, the optical element 12 detects a slit provided in the periphery of the disc 11 and makes the sample-housing backet 3 fitted to the rotor coincide with a given position, or the opening 8 of the upper plate of a rotor chamber 2 and stops it. Then, the charging or discharging operation of a test tube-housing rack 25 can be automatically performed by a sample charger provided at the upper part of the opening 8.
