Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to circulate a medium and continue and operation even if a pump is stopped by a method wherein a level of condensed liquid in a hot well of a condenser is made higher than that of the liquid in an evaporator.
CONSTITUTION: Working medium exhausted from a turbine 6 is received into a condenser 1 through an exhaust pipe of the turbine. The working medium condensed in the condenser 1 is stored within a hot well 2 so as to maintain a level higher than the liquid level 20. The working medium is pressurized by a condensed liquid pump successively, thereafter, is flowed into an evaporator 4 and is stored so as to maintain a level higher than a liquid level 21. A rest 16, equipped with the condenser 1 thereon, and a rest 17, equipped with the evaporator 4 thereon, are arranged respectively so that the liquid level 20 of the condenser hot well 2 becomes higher than the liquid level 21 of the evaporator 4 by a height H.
