Abstract

PURPOSE: A spike board laminate for a cylinder half lap in a comber, wherein a damaged board is readily cut off, and a plurality of spike boards of specific construction each consisting of a spike base having the point of the spike and a protruded spike insertion are laminated with a connection part engaged with a hollow.
CONSTITUTION: The grooves 8 with the slope at an angle α are provided on the cylinder half lap 1 in the cylinder shaft direction, and the triangular grooves 9 engaged with the spike boards 15 are formed. The base 11 having the point of spike 10 of working angle β at the top is connected with the spike insertion 13 having the protrusion 12 engaging with the groove 9 in a doglegged form. The hollow 14 is formed on the corner between the base 11 and insertion 13 to constitute the spike board 15. A plurality of the boards 15 are laminated, and the connection part 16, e.g. a metal rod, is engaged with the hollow 14 to press and crush the part 16. Thus, the objective laminate 17 is obtained.
EFFECT: No damage of the board due to the cutting of the connection part out of contact with the board by a chisel.
