Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Contact is given first between the water of the sewage, the industrial water and the like containing the phosphate such as the ortho-phosphate, organic phosphate, etc. and the crystal seed containing the calcium phosphate such as the hydroxyapatite, fluoroapatite, etc. After this, the water containing the phosphate is made to have contact to the active alumina. As a result, the phosphate is turned into the calcium phosphate which is deposited onto the crystal seed to be eliminated substantially. And the residual phosphate is adsorbed by the active alumina for elimination. In such way, a high-efficiency elimination is possible even for the high-concentration phosphate.
