Abstract

CONSTITUTION: At each rolling mill of the continuous rolling facilities possessing the wide rolling condition and the rolling mill characteristic, the influence factors αi, βi, are obtained from the mean deformation-resistance K of the rolled material, the sheet breadth W, the mill constant M of the rolling mill, etc. From this result, the roll speed of each rolling mill is controlled by the control gain ki,i+1 depending on the characteristic of the control object to be obtained from the formula I at an arbitrary point of time during the rolling work.
