Abstract

PURPOSE: To hold a tap floatably by an O-ring by a method wherein in a containing hole is provided a return member which returns a movable member by force to the initial position in incessant contact with a movable member when the said movable member moves in an axial direction.
CONSTITUTION: A tap inserting hole 4 which is formed in the center of a drum part 3, a cone part 2 and a nut part 1 is made slightly larger in diameter than the column part C of the tap T. Additionally, the column part of the collet is formed by the hole 4, the drum part 3, the cone part 2 and the nut part 1. The lower end of a return spring 23 is pressure-welded on a movable member 10 as the lower end is wound around the external circumference of the upper end of a push screw 12 and the upper and is pressure-welded on the step part 22 of the upper end of a containing hole 21. Moreover, the internal diameter of the rubber O-ring 8 set in an indented groove 7 is made slightly smaller than the diameter of the column part C. When the column part C is inserted, the tap T comes in close with the O-ring and can be set and held floatably.
