Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a speed change gear capable of being operated without foot operation of a clutch pedal, by performing the intermittent operation of a clutch using the shift operation of a shift lever.
CONSTITUTION: In transmission system of a shift lever 11 is provided a working mechanism A which can operate an oil pressure generating apparatus or detent cylinder 8 in relation with the shift operation. A transfer valve 3 is provided to a pipe 2 connecting an oil pump P and a clutch release cylinder for switching a clutch. Usually the transfer valve 3 cuts off the pipe line 2 and release the oil pressure in the clutch release cylinder 1, while when required, the transfer valve 3 is switched to open by the oil pressure from the cylinder 8 and thus to allow the oil pressure in the pump P to act to the cylinder 1 and to elevate its pressure. Therefore, the foot operation of the clutch pedal can be omitted, so that fatigue of a driver can be alleviated.
