Abstract
PURPOSE: To supply superheated steam stably by a method wherein a superheater is contained in a drum filled with a fluid medium of large heat capacity, and panels for the superheater are provided with heat receiving surfaces which receive the solar radiation.
CONSTITUTION: The saturated water a from a steam/water drum 1 is fed to boiler panels 2, from which a gas-liquid two-phase flow b returns to the drum 1. The saturated steam c generated through this circulation is superheated by a superheater 3, and taken out from the latter as superheated steam d. The superheater 3 is placed in a heat accumulating drum 4 which is contained together with the steam/water drum 1 in a heat insulation zone 5 surrounded by heat insulating material. Panels 6 provided with passages 6a, 6b for circulating a medium therein are connected to the heat accumulating drum 4, and the panels 6 are provided on their outside surfaces with heat receiving surfaces 6c for receiving the solar radiation. Accordingly, superheated steam can be obtained even when the heat flux A of solar radiation changes.
