Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure the automatic resetting to the reproduction mode in case the tape ends in the rewind mode, by providing the means which connects seletively the tape end detecting action of the tape end detector to the ejecting mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: The tape recorder consists of the following component units: the tape end detector; cassette ejection lever 10; ejection auxiliary lever 40 which is actuated by the tape end detector; lock lever 17 which selects the connection between levers 40 and 10; rewind lever locking component 36; and the control means which controls lever 17 with operation of rewind lever 29 each. Lever 17 is controlled by the control means and by the operation of lever 29 to release the connection between levers 40 and 10. When the tape end arrives, lever 40 actuates the control means to release component 36. Thus the reproduction mode can be reset.
