PURPOSE:To increase the visual contrast by decreasing the 2-axis current of the CRT which is supplied from the output transistor for CRT driving in adverse proportion to the anode current in case the anode current exceeds the fixed level. CONSTITUTION:When the anode current IH of the CRT16 increases and decreases in accordance with variation of the contrast, the current IH is supplied from the power source +B. When this current exceeds the fixed level, the 2nd diode 22 is turned off. And at the same time, the cathode voltage of the 1st diode 20 is lowered down. This diode 20 conducts to lower the base bias of the transistors 1 and 2 each. As a result, the collector current of the output transistor 1 and 2 for (R-Y) and (G-Y) each is reduced. And thus the CRT current of (B-Y) is increased equivalently to increase the color temperature.
