CONSTITUTION: In parallel to DC electric power source E applying electric power to memory M, the series circuit consisting of reverse-current stopping diode D and backing-up battery B lower in voltage than DC electric power source E is connected and by way of switching transistor Q1 that turns off when the DC electric power voltage falls nearly down to the battery voltage, electric power from DC power source E is applied to another IC such as memory control circuit MC, so that voltage detecting circuit VD operating at a higher voltage than the battery voltage will disable memory M.
