Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent mistracking with accuracy by supplying a control circuit with a signal regarding the movement of a pickup arm and by carrying out the movement of the arm and correcting operation at correct timing.
CONSTITUTION: Since the pickup arm is displaced as electric current flows to coil 5 by way of coil driving circuit 17, this current is flowed through resistance R to convert a voltage signal, which is supplied to comparator 19 by way of LPF18 and when it exceeds the reference voltage developed across voltage source 20, an output signal is obtained and supplied to monostable multivibrator 22 as a trigger signal. Simultaneously, this output signal is supllied to control circuit 4 by way of delay circuit 16 and then superposed upon a tracking signal, displaying the pickup simultanceously with the movement of pickup arm 3. Consequently, the displacement of the pickup and the movement of the arm are carried out at correct timing, so that a mistracking will be prevented with accuracy.
