Abstract
PURPOSE:To prepare economically a vessel having the large strength against the internal pressure by applying the axially extending method and the radially directional swell forming to a pipe of thermoplastic resin which is cut in a fixed length and whose end surface parts are both worked. CONSTITUTION:A rod 7 having an airing passage 7a along the axial line and provided with many jetting orifices 21 communicated with the airing passage 7a is put inside a rod 6 formed of a hollow cylinder slidably in the direction of the axial line, while flangers 8 and 9 are fitted to the rods 6 and 7, respectively. The end part of a pipe material heated to the fixed temperature is put on the above flangers 8 and 9 and, flange roller 17 and 18 being rotated around the pipe material, the pipe material is cut by a cutter 19 and flange parts F1 and F2 are formed. Next, while both end parts of a pipe P thus obtained are held by a flange holder 27, the pipe P is drawn by pushing out the rod 7 to the left, and then the pressure air is fed through the airing passage 7a and jetting orifices 21 to swell out the pipe P in the direction of the diameter, whereby a pipe body P1 is formed. Then, a covering body is fitted to the flange part of the pipe body P1 and thereby a vessel is obtained.
