Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a decorative laminate having high hardness and sharp boundary between the foamed part and the foam-suppressed part, by applying an ink containing foam-suppressing agent patternwise to a substrate coated with a polyvinyl chloride resin containing a peroxide-type crosslinking initiator and a specific reactive plasticizer, and foaming the laminate with heat.
CONSTITUTION: A substrate is coated with a polyvinyl chloride resin composition compounded with a peroxide-type crosslinking initiator and a reactive plasticizer comprising a compound having two or more double bonds in a molecule, pref. diallyl phthalate. An ink containing a foam-suppressing agent is applied patternwise to the surface of the vinyl coating layer, and the vinyl layer is foamed with heat.
