Abstract
PURPOSE: To make the capacity of a vaporizer small and to prevent generation of tar due to overheating of a nozzle pipe connected to the vaporizer, by feeding liquid fuel to the nozzle pipe and spraying it out from the nozzle in the state that atomized fuel is mixed with vaporized fuel.
CONSTITUTION: Liquid fuel is supplied to the vaporizer 3 via a fuel supply passage 2 connected to a pump 1 and it is heated and vaporized by the heater 4 in the vaporizer 3. At the same time, liquid fuel is also supplied to a nozzle pipe 6 via a by-pass passage 8 and mixed, as atomizing medium, with fuel heated and vaporized by heater 4. Therefore, it is enabled to increase the combustion rate to such a degree corresponding to the amount of liquid fuel supplied and to reduce the capacity of the vaporizer 3 correspondingly. Further, by the function of liquid fuel, nozzle pipe 6 can be protected against overheating, so that generation of tar can be prevented resultantly.
