Abstract

NEW MATERIAL:A naphthalenesulfonamide derivative of formula I (X is halogen; n is an integer 2W4).
EXAMPLE: N-(4-Aminobutyl)-5-chloro-1-naphthalenesulfonamide hydrochloride.
USE: An excellent preventive and remedy for thrombosis having improved platelet coagulation inhibitory action than the well-known compound and with high safety.
PROCESS: A diaminoalkane of formula II is reacted with a naphthalenesulfonic acid derivative of formula III in a solvent, e.g. water or an alkanol, which dissolves the diaminoalkane under cooling with ice to a temperature of the boiling point of the solvent for 1W30hr to give the titled compound of formula I.
