Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable accurate aperture controlling even in the case when stopping- down metering output contains fluctuating components by applying the correction output corresponding to stopping-down errors to one input of a comparator when it is detected that the lapse time from the start of stopping-down has corresponded to the specified aperture value.
CONSTITUTION: This comprises comparing both outputs of a photometric circuit 2 which generates the stopping-down metering output corresponding to the light past the stop which is stopped down from a full-aperture state toward the minimum stop aperture prior to starting of exposure and a setting circuit 1 which generates the output corresponding to the preset shutter second timer or aperture value in a comparator 4, wherein when it is detected that the lapse time from the instantaneous stopping-down start time has corresponded to the preset aperture time the stopping-down inhibit signal of the comparator 4 is output slightly earlier to permit the actual stoppling-down inhibition by a stopping-down inhibiting device 5 at a desired aperture value.
