Abstract
PURPOSE:To control the soot formation by propane gas, by supplying organic liquid and the propane gas in the furnace and to control the supply quantity so as to be carbon potential in aimed value. CONSTITUTION:Organic liquid for drip injection, e.g. methanol, generating carrier gas and isopropyl alcohol for cementation gas, are supplied together with propane gas as the cementation gas at gas cementation and quantity of consumption of propane gas, is reduced and soot generation is prevented. Each isopropyl alcohol and methanol, is supplied from the main tanks 2, 3 in the cementation furnace 1. Propane gas is supplied in the furnace 1 from the introducing tube 25. Reaction is accelerated by nickel catalyst in the furnace 1. The gas G in the furnace is introduced into the gas analyzer 27 through the pipe 26 and analyzed value is changed into the analytical signal Sa and the signal Sa is sent to the CO2 gas controller 28. Here, said signal is compared with previously set aimed value and the control valves 24, 10A, 10B, are automatically controlled and then, supply quantity is controlled so as to be the quantity of CO2 in the furnace constant.
