Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a delay of an actual rotation speed variation rate with respect to a preset variabion rate and minimizing the time for reaching a required rotation speed by adding to a rotation speed deviation signal an output signal of a dead zone included arithmetic unit which inputs a revolution number deviation signal.
CONSTITUTION: Output signals of both a rotation speed detector 7 which detects an actual revolution number of a steam turbine 1 and a variation rate setter 4 which determines a speed increasing rate of the steam turbine are arithmetically compared with each other by a rotation speed deviation detector. An opening detector 8 detects an opening of a steam control valve 2 of the steam turbine to provide an output, which is differentiated by a differentiator 9 and added to a revolution number deviation signal. The revolution number deviation signal is sent to a dead zone arithmetic unit 1, which provides an output signal and adds it to a revolution speed deviation signal.
