Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve combustion efficiency and to reduce power generating cost by heating pressurized air by normal pressure fluidized bed combustion of coal by driving a turbine by combustion gas which is generated by heating pressurized air by normal pressure fluidized bed combustion of coal and is heated and pressurized at a combustor.
CONSTITUTION: Air pressurized in a compressor 1 is conducted to a heat exchanger tube in a normal pressure fluidized bed combustion furnace 2. A fluidized bed 4 is formed with air which is fed by a blower 6 from under a dispersing plate 5, with multiple holes, which is provided in the lower part of the normal pressure fluidized bed combustion furnace 2. The heated compressed air, then, is sent to a combustor 7, and its combustion gas is sent to a turbine 8 to drive the compressor 1 and a power generator 9. Then, the combustion gas after an expanding work at the turbine 8 is conducted to a waste heat collecting boiler 10, and is further conducted to a steam turbine 11 to drive the power generator 14 and is liquefied in a condenser 12.
