Abstract
PURPOSE: To certainly prevent a floating phenomenon of the rotary portions of a propeller water wheel during load cut off by providing a throttle valve with a check valve and a solenoid switch over valve in series to a by-pass passage provided between a main pipe and the end of a cylinder chamber.
CONSTITUTION: The second main pipe 7 is installed at the position where the opening 7b is blocked when a piston 3 comes to a position where the opening of a guide vane reaches nearly nonload opening. And between the second main pipe 7 and a cylinder chamber 2b are installed throttle valves 9 and 10 with a check valve each and a by-pass passage 8 connected in series to a solenoid switch over valve 11 which changes its opening position to the closed position when a water wheel's number of revolution exceeds the established number of revolution. This causes the guide vane to close quickly to no load opening position when load is cut off and to stop temporally at the position. When the water wheel's number of revolution drops below the established value, a gradual closing operation starts, which prevents a floating phenomenon of the rotary portions with certainty.
