Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve efficiency in stationary driving condition in such a way that an auxiliary capacitor and a relay are provided in parallel with a driving capacitor, and the relay is actuated by a thermostat.
CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary capacitor 24 and a relay 25 are provided in parallel with a driving capacitor 23, overloading and stationary loading are judged by a thermostat 26, and the auxiliary capacitor 24 is set ON and OFF by actuating the relay 25. Thus, in the stationary driving condition, efficiency is improved from the point (a) to the point (c) in comparison with the case of using the driving capacitor 23 only.
