Abstract

PURPOSE: To burn or dry effectively water contained particles or sludge to be burned by supplying a combustion promoter such as oxygen by means of injection vacuum and attracting the particles or sludge to be burned by the burning power.
CONSTITUTION: A gas cock is opened to inject gas from an ignition burner 14 and the injected gas is fired by an ignition heater 15. Then a high pressure pump 1 is operated to inject fuel from a fuel tank 13 (such as heavy oil) through an injection nozzle 2. Vacuum is generated around the injection mouth of the nozzle 2, thereby suctioning combustion promoter such as oxygen from pipe 6. Thus the fuel burns with the oxygen and goes through discharge pipe 9 under influence of injection power up to the discharge end of the pipe 9, through which the burning fuel enters into the combustion chamber not shown and burns up therein. In this instance, there occurs attracting power within the attracting pipe 8 which is connected to the pipe 9 to form a letter L. The water contained powdery coal or sludge is attracted by the attracting power out of the tank 10 and then discharged into the combustion chamber with the water contained therein being extracted and burned up in the combustion chamber.
