Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve an accuracy in metering thermosetting resin and reduce a difference of heat histories thereof by a method wherein a plasticizing cylinder and a metering and injecting cylinder are not integralized and are independently separated respectively. CONSTITUTION:Thermosetting resin in a plasticizing cylinder A is shifted into a metering and injecting cylinder C as a plunger 3 is retreated. The metering and injecting cylinder C is separated from the plasticizing cylinder A, thereafter, is connected to a mold B to inject a constant amount of the plasticized thermosetting resin into the mold B by a forward movement of the plunger 3. The plasticizing cylinder and the injecting cylinder are independent respectively, therefore, it is not necessary to provide a nonreturn valve or to afraid of backflow of the resin while dismantling and cleaning of the device are effected easily. Furthermore, the plasticizing cylinder A can plasticize the resin for a next process while the injecting cylinder C is injecting the resin into the mold B.
