Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a composite piezoelectric film which has easy workability to a thin film, large piezoelectric effect, a plenty of flexibility and less ageing change by continuously changing the inorganic ferrodielectric powder density in thickness direction. CONSTITUTION:Inorganic ferrodielectric powder 2 is continuously changed in density in thickness direction in a composite piezoelectric film 1 in dispersed state. The density changing degree of the powder 2 can be controlled suitably by selecting the grain size, specific weight of the powder 2, specific viscosity and centrifugal force of the high molecular material and the like. In this manner acoustic impedance is continuously varied with respect to the thickness direction. Accordingly, a high molecular material layer 3 is disposed at the living body side as a living body supersonic probe to form an excellent piezoelectric element for supersonic probe for living body. When the layer 3 is used as a protective layer, it can also be used as a keyboard piezoelectric element.
