Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve the connection of high connection strength and less characteristic degradation by using the porous body comprising working metal powder to a desired shape as an intermediate medium in connection of two kinds of metal bodies of different melting points. CONSTITUTION:In the case of connecting the 1st metal body of a low melting point being copper, nickel, iron or their alloy and the 2nd metal body of a high melting point being tantalum or niobium, a rubber plate 8 is contacted closely with the bottom of a lower electrode 7 having a narrow opening at its top surface. The capacitor element 1 connected with a cathode terminal 4, anode terminal 5 and the porous body 9 comprising working the metal powder of the same material as that of the 2nd metal body to a desired shape are subsequently set and resistance welding is done by applying constant pressure, voltage and current between the upper and lower electrodes 10 and 7. The porous body melts and penetrates in the the anode lead-out wire 2. When pressure is exerted further, it readily connects to the anode terminal 5.
