Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain reduction in weight and to improve mass-productivity by obtaining an extremely thin unit by manufacturing a coaxial resonator, which is miniature and lightweight and provides high-Q characteristics in the UHF band, by making its external conductor by press work. CONSTITUTION:External conductor 1, manufactured by press work, is fitted to substrate conductor 4 direct or via support conductor 6. Support 6 may be fitted at need. One terminal of center conductor 2 is fixed at the bottom part of external conductor 1 by screw 7. Then, a frequency adjustment is made by adjusting tuning screw 5 for the frequency adjustment. Here, support conductor 6 and substrate conductor 4 may both be manufactured by press work.
