Abstract

PURPOSE: To smooth a surface of a screw portion of a molded product and improve an accuracy thereof by a method wherein ribs to prevent a rotation upon mold releasing are provided on the molded product and the product is released from molds while spiral grooves provided on both fixed side and movable side of the mold are rotated.
CONSTITUTION: A screw-like spiral groove 2 is provided on a separating surface of a mold for a flange 1 and a screw 3 is provided on an internal periphery of a side opposing thereto while ribs 5 are arranged at desired positions on a circular recessed portion 4 for reducing an excess thickness thereof. In the molds, separate molds 15, 31 to form spiral grooves on a fixed-side core 11 and a movable-side core 28 respectively are movably attached to the principal molds. After resin is filled and cooled, a mold releasing of the spiral groove is effected by moving as the movable- side mold 15 is being rotated while the mold releasing of the fixed-side is effected by moving the core 11. When the movable-side mold 31 is rotated, protrusions 28a of the movable-side core 28 are engaged with the ribs 5 to stop the rotation and thus the mold releasing of the screw portion 3 may be finished.
