CONSTITUTION: A cylinder block 4, including its external circumference, thrust face 5, center hole 6 and cylinder hole 7, is wholly machined, the inner diameter of the cylinder hole 7 being practically equal to the outer diameter of a complex cylinder 1. After being put tight in the cylinder hole 7, the complex cylinder 1 undergoes heat treatment, while another copper alloy cylinder 2 for sliding is brazed to the cylinder block 4. Then the assembly is finally machined to a finished product. The use of the complex cylinder 1 makes the assembly work very simple with stable brazing performance.
