Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a pressure resisting strength of a rubber bag to 7W10kg/cm2 or more by a method wherein halves of the rubber bag are formed by baking on halves of a metallic cylinder respectively, thereafter the halves of the cylinder are connected and bonding surfaces of rubber bags thereof are bonded by vulcanizing.
CONSTITUTION: Cloth (braiding) for reinforcing, applied with a special rubber bonding agent and dried, is molded by a double-cylindrical mold having a fishhooklike section and is cut at portions shown by signs X, thus, a braiding 1 consisting of an outer and an inner annular portions having the fishhooklike sections is obtained. Unvulcanized rubber sheets are adhered to both surfaces of the braiding 1 to make halves of the rubber bag 2, 2' and the inner annular portions of the rubber bags 2, 2' are bonded to the halves of the metallic cylinders 3, 3' by baking, then, the rubber bags 2, 2' are treated by a primary vulcanization. Subsequently, the cylinders 3, 3' are abutted to each other and the connecting portions 4, 4' are bonded by pressure, simultaneously, bonding surfaces 8, 8' are laminated and bonded by pressure while air is blown into the rubber bags 2 located between molding tool 9, 10 through a pipe 7 to vulcanize and bond them.
