Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable accurate positioning by a method wherein a means for positioning an article to be printed is provided on a member for supporting a screen plate and the position of the screen plate is made adjustable to the article positioned by the means for positioning.
CONSTITUTION: A stage 4 whereon the article 6 to be printed is placed is elevated and a stage base 15 is made to touch a stopper 17. A rotary-type air cylinder 24 is operated and the article 6 to be printed is pressed against a block 18 by a pressing plate 19 and a pressing piece 20, whereby the article is positioned. Next, a base 30 is moved by turning a micrometer head 32 and thereby the pattern of a screen plate 10 mounted on the base is adjusted to the predetermined position of the article 6. And, under the condition, a screen frame 9 and the base 30 are fixed to a supporting member 7'.
