Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution and to reduce the watt consumption and heating value of an electromagnetic device for a plunger and the like used to control a tape recorder and the like by inserting a resistor in the exciting winding circuit to maintain the state of a movable piece having been attracted. CONSTITUTION:To maintain the state of a movable piece, e.g., a plunger 8 having been attracted by excitation of windings 6 and 7, switches 9 and 10 are changed over to the fixed terminal side. This causes a resistor 11 to be inserted in the exciting winding circuit. Thus, the watt consumption and the heating value on the whole can be reduced.
