Abstract

PURPOSE: To attain the excellent property of high-speed continuous recording besides facilitation and miniaturization by equipping a recorder with a rotatable cylinder while constituting a carrying method so that its circumferential length will be less than the overall length of a recorded material in the feed direction.
CONSTITUTION: Drum 4 consists of center cylinder 8 in a hollow cylinder shape, internal partition plate 9, perforated cylinder 10 in a hollow cylinder shape; and center cylinder 8 and internal partition plate 9 are arranged and fixed as shown in the figure and only perforated cylinder 10 is rotatable counterclockwise with driving force from a driving source. Center cylinder 8 has suction hole 8a for inside-outside communication and internal room 8b of cylinder 8 communicates with the sucking- exhausting method. In perforated cylinder 10, many suction pores 10a are made which provide inside-outside communication and those pores 10a are arrayed at small intervals in the rotating direction of cylinder 10, so that many suction pores will be arranged at mutually fixed intervals. Consequently, a supply material to be recorded can immediately be driven at a fixed recording speed, so the recording rise time can be shortened, providing high-speed continuous recording.
