Abstract
PURPOSE: Titled composition having excellent balance between flow properties and mechanical properties, comprising an aromatic polyamide-imide resin, a specific aromatic polyester resin and a filler.
CONSTITUTION: The following three components (A), (B) and (C) are molten and mixed together at 250W400°C: (A) 5W99.9wt% of an aromatic polyamide-imide resin containing as an essential structural unit, 50W100mol% of repeating units represented by the formula, wherein Ar is a trivalent aromatic residue containing at least one 6-membered carbocyclic ring, R is a bivalent aromatic and/or aliphatic residue and R' is H, methyl or phenyl, (B) 0.1W50wt% of an aromatic polyester resin containing as an essential structural unit, at least 50mol% of aromatic polyester units prepared from an aromatic dibasic acid (anhydride) and a dihydric phenol and having a melt index of below 1×103 at 350°C and a decomposition temperature higher than 350°C and (C) 0W70wt% of a filler such as graphite, glass fiber or clay.
