Abstract

PURPOSE:To make simple compensations for inclination of a vertical line of a printer head and for change of a jet direction thereof by a method wherein the printer head is supported rotatably laterally by an arbor parallel to the ink jet direction and vertically by an arbor rectangular to the ink jet direction. CONSTITUTION:The oxternal portion 1-1 of a printer head composed of an ink particles generating means 1, an upper and a lower deflecting electrode 6, 7, etc. is supported by a rotary arbor 16 on a base 15 held in a cavity 9-1 of a carriage 9 for rotation in the range of an angle beta to both right and left sides. The rotary arbor 16 is parallel to the ejecting direction of ink particles. A coil spring 18 is set around a screw 17 between a by piece 1-2 and the base 15 and fine adjustment and fixing are made by two screws 17, 17 in the range of the angle beta of the printer head. The rotary arbor 19 is provided in the direction at a right angle to the jet direction of the ink particles. Between the base 15 and the cavity 9-1 of the carriage 9 are provided with springs 21 around screws 20 and a rotation angle gamma of the printer head is adjusted and fixed finely by these two screws 20.
