Abstract
PURPOSE: To develop uniform distribution of temperature without using any jig with side plates held by pressing core plates into the both end parts of flat tubes after placing the plates in parallel to the both side faces of the core part body of heat exchangers so that the body may be pressed due to the elasticity of the plates.
CONSTITUTION: Side plates 3 are located in parallel to flat tubes 1 and corrugate fins 2 on the both sides of a core part body 6 made by laminating the tubes 1 and fins 2. Therein, the lowermost side plate and the uppermost side plate are placed so that the swelling thereof may be made upward and downward respectively. The body 6 and side plates 3 are pressed until the lamination thickness thereof reaches a fixed value, core plates 4 are pressed into the both end parts of the tubes 1, and the plates 3 are held between the plates 4 by pressure-contacting the latter's projections 4b with the former's both ends. Since the core part is kept in assembly state due to the elasticity of the side plates 3, a jig becomes unnecessary and temperature distribution becomes uniform.
