Abstract

PURPOSE:To conserve consumed electric power and driving power by a method wherein a heater utilizing heat emitted from an engine is operated and warm air is discharged into a cabin by utilizing a ventilation due to a dynamic pressure caused by running even in a condition that a motor fan and a cooler are stopped. CONSTITUTION:An upper-stream side of a ventilating duct 1 is communicated with an outer air sucking port 1a while a down-stream side thereof is opened within a cabin, and a motor fan 3, a cooler 4 utilizing an engine as a driving source, and a heater 5 utilizing the engine as a heat source are arranged sequentially in the duct 1. Said fan 3, cooler 4 and heater 5 are controlled properly by controlling signals of a controller 10. Here, the controller 10 outputs an energizing signal of a negative pressure operator 33 to switch a damper 2 into the outer air sucking port 1a and enerizes a solenoid valve 32 to circulate cooling water of the engine into the heater 5 when an operation command for the fan 3 is absent. According to this method, warm air is discharged into the cabin by utilizing a ventilation due to a dynamic pressure caused by running of the car.
