Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent an abnormal temperature rise, by automatically stopping the electric current supply to the heating element when a signal entering the electric circuit exceeding the detection line has become below a prescribed value.
CONSTITUTION: A field effect transistor FET and a two-step transistor whose on and off are opposite to each other are connected between the detection line 1 and the triode AC switch Tr, that is, a semiconductor element which turns on and off a current supplied to the heating element 5. When the detection line 1 is disconnected, since a signal does not enter the gate of FET, FET becomes unable to amplify the voltage, the pretransistor and the posttransistor are turned off and on, respectively. Therefore, the collector voltage of the posttransistor drops, and the following circuit is stopped by utilizing the foregoing so that a current is not supplied to the heating element 5.
