Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the leakproof and local corrosion of a seal of a battery by producing a positive conductor of a seal through a plastic machining. CONSTITUTION:A positive cell post 1 is inserted into an opening 3' of a battery cover 3, and a space between a packing base 3'' and the positive cell post 1 is sealed with a rubber packing 2 and gland 4 to press the rubber packing 2. The positive cell post 1 is produced through a plastic machining such as extrusion, rolling, or drawing using an alloy such as lead-antimony alloy, lead-calcium alloy, or lead-tin alloy.
